Head of Production / Line Producer
Sandra has worked with Christopher Hird since 1994 and shares his passion for producing documentaries which aspire to challenge, educate and bring about social change.
She worked at Fulcrum Productions for 12 years as a Production Manager during which time she was responsible for about 200 hours of their UK and international broadcast output. She became Fulcrum’s Head of Production and 2006, but left to join Christopher when he set up Dartmouth Films in 2008.
As Head of Production she manages all of Dartmouth’s documentary film projects which range from small low-budget docs made by first-time directors to large-budget docs working with hugely experienced talent. She enjoys meeting the challenges that both size projects can bring. She supports the development of new talent and unearthing new approaches to production processes.
Sandra was the Line Producer on the multi-award winning Black Gold, The End of the Line, The War You Don’t See and The Battle for Barking. She also Line Produced last years How To Re-Establish a Vodka Empire and this years Cocaine Unwrapped.
